The lighthouse in Boston Harbor represents getting back to the safety of home.
Sexual health does not always require seeing a health care provider in person.

There are few situations more vulnerable than a pelvic exam.  It can be hard enough to go to a provider for routine sexual wellness.  Many are too busy taking care of families, working, or prioritizing their own self care.

But some have experienced sexual trauma making sexual health visits crippling.  Others fear they may have contracted a sexually transmitted infection. Or like me, some of us did not have open communication as a teenager or young adult about sexual activity, it was taboo, and even years later can find it embarrassing to address. Many fear the stigma of LGBTQ+ discrimination or the difficulty of a spirit that does not match the physical appearance.

But so much can be accomplished without being seen in person, often without leaving home.  It is my goal to reach those patients and give them the opportunity to achieve sexual wellness on their terms, "meeting them where they are".  Though there are limitations to telehealth (a pelvic exam is not done), accurate testing is available that can be brought to YOU and sent directly back to the testing facility for rapid results (not the knock off test kits available on line).  Medications can be sent to your home address.  And even cervical cancer screening through primary HPV testing, the newest and most accurate determinant of risk, can be done by the YOU in the privacy of your own home.

It is all in your hands.  Reach out today to schedule at discreetdocs.com
